Focusing our energies on what we want – not what we don’t want or on what is wrong – creates the energy vortex for what we want to come about. And our focus must be positive and uplifting.

This article is from a few years ago that I post from time to time; I have tweaked it a bit to address what we as individuals and the world are now going through.

There is so much love, support, community banding together, and hundreds of ways we are all supporting each other – physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually going around. And we MUST keep it up.

At this difficult time, it is even MORE important than ever to focus on what we want – in our lives and in the world – so that we come out of this as unscathed as possible and the world a much, much better, fairer, more compassionate, and egalitarian place.

At the end of this post are a few links to aids

that have recently crossed my path to help us navigate this time.

—————————-

Here is the original post – tweaked just slightly. Add to the list near the bottom if you wish.

We all want to feel loved and safe, and have all we need to survive – and to thrive. Everyone in the world should have the opportunities for these – to have access to their basic and general needs, and to the paths to help them reach their potentials.

This desire to feel loved and safe is born out of remembrance – of a time before we feel negativity – into greed, judgment, inequality, divisiveness, and non-co-operation.

And although what we are going through now is harder than what most of us have seen in our lifetime, it is giving us the opportunity to bring about that ideal world we all yearn for. It is forcing us to band together – in love and co-operation – as we have never seen before. And we are passing with flying colors.

It is the focusing on love, compassion, sharing, co-operation – and what we want (for ourselves, others, and the world), rather than on blame, criticism, and greed – and what we don’t want – that is creating the upward spiral of energy that will usher in the changes we long for – and keep the momentum moving forward.

Focusing on the negative, the drama, what we don’t want,

what frustrates us, or makes us angry blocks the flow to positive change.

I’m not saying that today it is easy today to be fully positive and not fall into fear or get involved in some of the drama. None of us can fully do that. But we can try – and check ourselves when we do.

In our ever-changing world where one day we are witness to love and compassion and are uplifted because we feel people and the world are finally moving towards being more loving, compassionate, and supportive of one another, and the next day we see someone taking advantage of our current vulnerable states or visions of brutality and hate plashed all over the news we become disheartened. We may even give up thinking that this will change us in a positive way forever, or on hoping for a better world.

——————————————————————————————————

We must NEVER give up hoping for a better world.

We always do what we can do in practical terms. But praying for better circumstances and a more loving and fairer world and sending light and love to those suffering, to the many health care-workers tirelessly helping the sick and those supporting us in the various ways through this time, or to any area of the world where people are suffering in our meditations are SO very helpful. It that is all we can do – know it DOES help.

But so is CLAIMING the world we want to live in with the quality and intensity of our thoughts and words. (Below is a link to a video by Patricia Cota-Robles to help us claim what we want for ourselves, and the world).

CLAIMING what we want to see in the world as already manifest helps change any prevailing focus we may hold that is pessimistic, too optimistic. It keeps the message we send to the Universe clean and clear. And keeps hope alive in us.

To ensure our desires come about, our being must hold

the prevailing inner-belief that what we want IS POSSIBLE.

Hopefulness must run in our veins.

Thought patterns that support the belief of not having, rather than of having

reduces the possibility of them coming about.

Here are a few examples of how we might PROCLAIM the world we want to see. Feel free to add your own, ignore some, or tweak aspects of any to more closely resemble your concerns about the world. Say them to yourself, or out loud. Just say them firmly and mean them!

I Want to Live in a World – where we all feel safe and have all we need to survive.

I Want to Live in a World – where we extend respect and the qualities of love to each other.

I Want to Live in a World – that promotes hope and optimism.

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone is treated fairly – no matter their sex, race, creed, social standing, sexual orientation (add in others if you want).

I Want to Live in a World – that promotes compassion towards everyone.

I Want to Live in a World – where all people are accepted just as they are – without judgment, prejudice, or biases aimed at them or that undermine their efforts.

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone on the Planet has the opportunity to become all that they can be.

I Want to Live in a World That

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone feels empowered and in control of their own destinies.

I Want to Live in a World – where we are taught to be mindful enough that we avoid creating conflict, but when conflict arises that we deal with it respectfully.

I Want to Live in a World – where we are proud to say we live in a country where our people are happy, feel safe, have all they need to survive and thrive and are empowered to become all they can be – Instead of being proud that our country is the richest or most powerful in the world, or because it has the strongest armies.

I Want to Live in a World – where we live by the basic lessons/messages in our religions, like unconditional love, sharing, and compassion, which unite us – instead of focusing on the dogmas that separate us.

I Want to Live in a World – where we are taught to respect other religions and belief systems than our own. And respect those who adhere to no particular belief system.

I Want to Live in a World – where the politicians show respect for each other and discuss the issues and their different beliefs and approaches calmly.

I Want to Live in a World – where the politicians make choices based on what is good for their people, the world, and the Planet – not based on their own agendas.

I Want to Live in a World – where businesses are run honestly, efficiently, and fairly, and adopt practices whereby the good of the many outweigh the good of the few.

I Want to Live in a World – where we ensure fairness for all as we balance the benefits of democracy and the freedoms of entrepreneurship.

I Want to Live in a World – where we respect and care for our Planet.

I Want to Live in a World – where we believe that Gaia, our loving home, can be returned to her beautiful pristine original self – and work together towards that end.

I Want to Live in a World – where we value the importance of reconciliation efforts with people who we disregarded or abused in the past, like the Indigenous people, the mentally ill, the disabled, the poor, or any group society marginalized.

We must still acknowledge and do what we can – whether about the challenges of today because of the coronavirus, or when we see injustices of any kind.

However, our main focus always has to be on the solutions and what we want to see in the world – not on judging, blaming, ranting, or complaining about what is now happening.

And just like when attempting to shift our thought-processes for our personal growth and we are encouraged to keep a written sheet of our proclamations handy, we can do the same when attempting to shift to more positive mind-talk regarding the outcome of this crisis, or what we want to generally see in the world.

Next week, I will continue with this theme, but focus on how to shift from negative to positive thought patterns.

Stay safe and well, with many blessings to you and your loved ones ?❤️?
