Tara Bracht’s Talk – (with a small meditation):Facing Fear in a Traumatized World.” Tara talks about how stresses and traumas  (like how we may have experienced this past year-and-a-half) can turn us into fear-based ways of navigating life that affect our physical, mental, and spiritual selves. Her guided meditation is at around 53 minutes and is aimed to help us release unwanted feelings and stresses.  At 34 minutes Tara also tells a beautiful story/allegory about how we internalize trauma in ways that aim to protect us, but that may cause others to misunderstand or criticize us.

This is is another beautiful – and powerful meditation from Melanie Belkler I have recently been using. It invokes Ste. Germain’s Violet  Flame, which helped to put what I was feeling in my heart onto paper when I was first starting to write. This Lakota Prayer is a beautiful prayer passed down through the generations that encourages us to learn how to trust our minds, our hearts, and our intuition – as it is through listening to the messages they give us that we can “Walk in the Balance” of life.    May it guide you when you need guidance, and uplift you when you need a boost 💚

Wakan Tanka,
Great Mystery (Great Spirit),

Teach me how to trust my heart,
Teach me how to trust my mind,
Teach me how to trust my intuition,

Teach me how to trust my inner knowing,
The senses of my body,
The blessings of my spirit.

Teach me to trust these things
so that I may enter my Sacred Space
and love beyond my fear

My Breathwork Practice (to help relieve stress, anxiety, fatigue, depression, apathy, etc.).

Daily breathwork helps keeps stress away, and allows us to tap into peaceful feelings more easily. When done regularly our being remembers it, and peaceful feelings return more quickly.

Our in-breaths invite in life. Our out-breaths expel stress/fatigue/depression, etc.

Do for 2 -5 minutes for a quick pick-me up. For 15-20 minutes to overcome a stressful situation.

To begin, always invite in your Best Self, Higher Self, Spirit, or your preferred Deity.

 Breathe in from the bottom of your belly all the way up to the top or your head.

Breathe IN slowly and deeply for 3 seconds.     Breathe OUT slowly and fully for 5 seconds.

Follow the in-and-out-breaths with your mind – or even your hands.

Allow the breaths to calm you … or energize you.

Repeat until you feel calmer, more relaxed, centered, or energized.
