Healing Ourselves Helps Heal Others, and Our Ancestral Lineages

Individuals and Humanity are at a point where we can no longer brush things under the rug. It is our time to lift the rug – to reveal what was buried and hidden – so that we can heal anything that is not of love – and ensure that everyone feels empowered and in control of their life and destiny. As Individuals 🌞The impetus to look beyond our feelings, attitudes, and behaviors is upon us – so that we can heal the wounds that cause(d) bad, ineffective, inappropriate, or hurtful attitudes and behaviors. 🌞We are learning the importance of – and the necessity to – stand up for ourselves: for our freedoms, beliefs, and right to live life as our hearts and souls call us to. I have mentioned the healing of the collective to give a fuller understanding that this inner push to heal is part of Humanity’s current evolutionary process and that the healing of the individual and the collective goes hand in hand. Healing Our Emotional Wounds Has Far-Reaching Effects We were created to live connected to love, effortlessly tapping into joy, and naturally expressing love – and its supportive qualities like fairness, sharing, and compassion outwards into the world. See my post The Qualities of Love. However, Humanity's past caused emotional wounds within us and we  disconnected from that love. Healing our emotional wounds can be done in many ways – but they all start with acknowledgment – with looking at the conscious or Unconscious Influences that cause(d) us to feel, react, or act out of context. Acknowledging how we feel, or what we have said or done that caused us or others pain or upsets, is the 1st step to healing. Once we acknowledge we then work to remove the blocks to love - to undo the Unconscious Influences that may be keeping us from accessing the love within. Staying Calm, Keeping Balanced, Allowing for Reflection

As we start to get back into the swing of Fall activities (at least those of us in the Northern hemisphere are), let us remember to not get so caught up in all the various commitments and/or responsibilities that come along with this time of the year that may cause us to become stressed and overly busy. And although we have missed out on many of the fun things we were used to doing, many of us have also enjoyed the slowing down –and used the time to rejuvenate our mind, body, and soul.  And if you feel bored or listless, remember how uplifting feeling relaxed and "just being" is. "Just being" offers our mind, body, and soul the energetic space to recalibrate - without us even being aware of it. And it puts us in a state where we can reflect. Modern life has often led us to ignore the reflective and feeling parts of ourselves. Our forced slowdowns this past year and a half have given us more time than usual to be calmer, more reflective, and opportunities to "just be." Links to 3 companion posts are at the end. To be happy and feel good we need to attend to our body, mind, emotions, and spiritual connection – and it is the subtler parts of ourselves that nurture these. The subtler parts of ourselves are more in tune with love – with a connection to our True Selves – to others – and everything around us. They are more based on our true reality. Being in tune with love and connected to our true reality, we navigate life adhering to love's qualities: kindness, sharing, compassion, acceptance, equality, unity, etc. We feel empowered – not in a striving for power way (based on a false strength) but from a place of inner strength (based on our true reality). This allows us to embrace the concept of me-and-you.  Humanity’s history has been based on false realities. Of separate motivations grounded in fear, greed, competition – on me-against-you. Fighting for our survival became paramount in our existence. We were reactive, rather than responsive. Although today most of us do not have to fight for our physical survival, we have maintained the competitiveness and reactive states of that survival mode. This, along with the disconnect from our True Self, has created stress and uneasiness in our beings. This has translated into the business and getting ahead ways of navigating life that has become the norm for many of us. The reactive way of navigating life that we inherited from past generations causes us to aggressively approach situations  – often bringing in past issues or being influenced by unaddressed emotions from our past – rather than responding calmly and only addressing what is currently happening. Our business, competitiveness, focus on getting ahead, and our reactive states have left no room to connect to our subtler and reflective natures – that are so important to our sense of well-being. Relationships: Partnering Up Consciously – Separating Consciously 2/3

The more consciousness we bring to our dating, the better they turn out for us.  The more consciousness we bring to our current relationships, the more easily they flourish. And the more evolved and conscious we become - aware of our wants, needs, and expectations - as well as any ways of being that may be detracting us from getting what we want from our dating or relationships, the more confident and empowered we become. Being more conscious allows us to more easily trust our hearts - that they are showing us a true picture when choosing a spouse or life partner (or even friends or a business partner) - instead of one created from denial or neediness. Consciousness brings maturity to dating, and to relationships. Read Part 1     Part 3 The more evolved and conscious we become, the less we will have to be wary of our unconscious influences (hurt feelings, neediness, aggressive or overly-passive reactions, etc.) luring us into hurtful or chaotic situations. Nor will we have to be so vigilant at continuously examining our emotions, desires, or motives. Neither will we have to be so cautious of others’ motives. When we bring consciousness and the maturity it holds to our dating and relationships, we are be working at higher vibration capacities. Our radars become better attuned to the vibrations of others, and if something is off we will cue into it more easily. Being emotionally open and allowing for feelings of vulnerability engages our soul. When we are emotionally open – whether in our thinking, speaking, or how we approach life and the issues and situations that crop up, we engage the power of our soul giving us access to the wisdom, ideas, and insights it holds. When we acknowledge our vulnerabilities, we create a space for our anxieties and fears to express themselves. This allows us to dispel any false ones, and effectively deal with those that are real. It is emotionally healthy for us to be open and to acknowledge our vulnerabilities. And although many of us are not  naturally open, and/or are afraid to face our vulnerabilities, the ramifications of Covid is giving the perfect opportunity to do so. The society we have grown up in has been based on power and strength. To get by and survive we have had to be powerful and strong – or at least appear to be. Any show of weakness, physical or emotional, was taken advantage of. To survive we learned to be closed, and to hide our vulnerabilities. It is time in our evolutionary journey for all of us to become emotionally open and to allow for feelings of vulnerability. And we can see this happening all around us as more and more people are calling out for equality and fairness in the world, and compassion for those going through hard times. The repercussions of the corona virus, with all the fear, stress, confusion, and conflict it has brought with it is the perfect vehicle to help individuals who are normally emotionally closed and do not allow for vulnerabilities to surface to do so. This time is giving us ample opportunities to be open – to live more from our heart-space and be more loving, understanding, and compassionate toward others who are also dealing with upheavals in their life. With so much pain and fear in the world, it is easier to shift away from the mind’s propensity to judge and criticize. And it is beneficial to do so. If our tendency has been to judge or criticize others, the feelings of vulnerability this time is bringing up offers us a wonderful opportunity to shift to being more loving, understanding, and compassionate. Most of us shy away from feeling vulnerable, but sitting in the uncomfortable feelings – for a short while, rather than denying them keeps our emotional bodies clear. Fear, anxiety, stress, change, uncertainty, and loneliness are now part of everyday life. Peaceful Honesty: Clearing Away the Cobwebs of Our Past

Most of us have at least encountered moments of peace and even pure bliss in our life. Some of us feel peaceful most of the time. Others us of vacillate between feeling peaceful and being worried, stressed, and even fearful. While others of us can rarely access feeling peaceful – never mind feel blissful. Whenever we experience life from a peaceful place, we are living connected to our soul – to our True Self. Connected to our soul, we are in touch with our emotional world. Peaceful Honesty is a concept from my first book, Your Journey to Peace ..., About book here We are open, honest, and fearless. We are authentic. We have no need to hide our feelings, desires, dreams, hurts, pains, or fears. Nor do we feel the need to defend, react, or attack. We trust life, and the insights that come to us. When we do not live connected to our soul, or cannot tap into feelings of peacefulness, we are living life at the beck and call of our mind. Any negative or hurtful experiences we are still holding onto, or any from our past we buried, influence our mind to work from a place of fear, suspiciousness, and protectionism. Living mind and fear centered, we are disconnected from Our true feelings – afraid to show – or even acknowledge our vulnerabilities. Being mind-centered causes us to bring echoes of the past into present circumstances. These echoes of the past created stories in our mind about how life should be and how others should be towards us. We then create expectations based on these stories that have nothing to do with what is happening in the present. We may be afraid to show our vulnerabilities, but they come out anyway in covert ways – by our reactions and behaviors. We therefore navigate life from limited, superficial, dishonest place. However, once we acknowledge and look at the real cause of current anxieties, disappointments or angers, and clear away the cobwebs from our past that are causing these, we open the door to living in Peaceful Honesty.
