Use Your Client E-mail List to Its Full Potential

The names on your client email list are high-quality contacts. Many of them are good bets to purchase or sign-up again as they have already shown interest in you and your products or services. However, most are on your list only by default – because they once were customers. Email lists cost money to maintain and take time to manage. So, you must use them to their full advantage. To keep the contacts OB your client list – and hopefully move them towards purchasing or signing up again, you must be gentle and nurture them? You do this with regular communications that keep them engaged, interested, and seeing you as honest – and an authority in the area of your business or service. And although many of them are prime candidates to buy or sign-up again, you cannot be sure where they stand on you, your company, or the product or service they once purchased. To Move them Closer to Re-purchasing or Re-subscribing, Your Communications Must be Nuanced enough – to at least ensure they keep their finger away from the “unsubscribe button.” It is a fine line to walk to keep them interested and engaged – while still giving them a gentle nudge. You do this with regular email communications (best done using an ESP system***) that could offer them, ?Tips ?Related or relevant new information ?Updates on the product or service they purchased or signed up for ?Information on your new products or services ?Renewal reminders. (You can include some information as to why they should renew with YOU ?Surveys. Surveys are a great way to gather more information about those on your list, such as their likes, dislikes, purchasing habits, etc., and their level of satisfaction. This information helps you target them more closely (in substance and tone) for future email messages – but it also makes the receiver feel important and part of your world. The emails can contain their own simple message, or be used as a vehicle to share information that will pique the readers' interest and keep them with you, be it through ?Newsletters ?Blog posts ?Articles ?Podcasts ?Videos, or ?Links to others’ interesting and related tidbits of information Phew! Email lists are one of the most valuable tools in digital marketing. And unless you are well versed in recent digital marketing techniques, building and growing your email list must seem daunting. That I understand. Advanced tech stuff is daunting to me! There are many types of email lists. All are valuable and give you results – some more so than others. Whatever you are wanting to promote, using your marketing dollars effectively is vital. Right? Modern, successful marketers trained in digital marketing suggest that clients looking for new customers, subscribers, or readers focus a considerable amount of their email marketing energy and dollars on attaining a Permission-based Email List. A Permission-based Email List – is a list of people who have given you their email addresses in response to a freebie or some information you put out there regarding your product, service, or message.
